Georgian Tourism Association (GTA) is working on a new 2025-2030 Strategic Development Plan. On February 27, 2020, an off-site workshop was held for the association’s member organizations in Chateau Mukhrani. In the context of the association’s rapid growth and successful development, the heads of committees and members discussed together the stages of reviewing and developing the association’s mission, vision, values, and action plan. The new strategy of Georgian Tourism Association will be published in the nearest future.

Georgian Tourism Association organized a seminar on ”Increase awareness of Labor Rights & OSH in Tourism & Hospitality sector". The meeting was attended by representatives of the tourism private sector. The aim of the project is to increase awareness and understanding of Labor Rights and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations among employers in the Tourism & Hospitality sector in Georgia, with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups, particularly those led by youth and women. Important scientific news in the Georgian tourism and hospitality sector! Georgian National University SEU's ranked international scientific journal "Vectors of Social Sciences" published a study: "Analysis of Labor Rights and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Research in the Georgian Tourism and Hospitality Sector" Authors: Natalie Kvachantiradze - Chairwoman of the Georgian Tourism Association, Nino Kekelidze - Associate, Affiliated Professor of SEU. The study was conducted with the support of the International Center for Private Entrepreneurship (CIPE), within the framework of the project Increase awareness if Labor & OSH in Tourism & Hospitality sector.

This time, the association organized a seminar at the Marriott Tbilisi Hotel, on the topic ”Increase awareness of Labor Rights & OSH in Tourism & Hospitality sector".
