On November 21, 2020, the Georgian Tourism Association organized an online conference on "Regulations and Standards in Tourism." Participants of Conference spoke about the importance of standards and regulations under COVID 19. They also discussed the importance of introducing standards in the country and the common goals set in this direction and the importance of international cooperation.

Georgian Tourism Association signed a Memorandum of understanding with four VET colleges: College Mermisi, College Opizari, College Ikaros, Ilia Tsinamdzgvrshvili Public College. The purpose of the memorandum is to develop and strengthen dual vocational education in tourism, to deepen relations between students and employers, to promote sustainable tourism development in Georgia.

30 of October 2020 in hotel Courtyard Marriott was organized the meeting with stakeholders ,,Public-private dialogue -Challenges in the tourism sector during the Pandemic period". The meeting was conducted within the project "Support to the Development Dual TVET in the Tourism Sector". The project is supported by GIZ. The MOU was signed between GTA and Colleges.
