Georgian Tourism Association(GTA) participates in the 13th International Exhibition of Tourism and Hotel Equipment EXPO BATUMI TRAVEL 2022, which will be held on May 13-14 in Batumi. Under the umbrella of the association will be representing 7 member organizations (travel companies, hotels).

The experience-sharing event with heads of committees of the Georgian Tourism Association was conducted on 19 April 2022, The project “Product and Service Offering development within the Knowledge-Intensive Learning” is supported by The USAID Economic Security Program "Implementation of Organizational Capacity Building Activities". The main goal of the project is to enhance the internal Capacity of the association, Improving the business environment, through the creation of market-oriented new services/products and the provision of recommendations.

Under The USAID Economic Security Program "Implementation of Organizational Capacity Building Activities", Georgian Tourism Association is implementing the project “Product and Service Offering development within the Knowledge-Intensive Learning”. The main goal of the project is to enhance the internal Capacity of the association, Improving the business environment, through the creation of market-oriented new services/products and the provision of recommendations.15.04.2022 at the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel, Tbilisi was organized stakeholders meeting, with the hospitality sector, tourism companies, airlines for the support of private sector needs and dialogue.

The International Center for Private Entrepreneurship (CIPE) and the Center for Solidarity, a joint project of "Employee and Civil Society Involvement to Strengthen Labor Law Enforcement", organized by CIPE on April 2-3 for members of the Economic Policy Advocacy Coalition (EPAC). The event was attended by representatives of 24 business associations and 3 private companies. On the first day of the event, business representatives were trained in the context of labor, social dialogue, and policy advocacy. The next day, the participants discussed the challenges in terms of labor law enforcement and developed appropriate solutions/recommendations to strengthen law enforcement. 2-3 .04.2022



 

Representatives of the Georgian Tourism Association and the GIZ visited the College "Prestige" on 4 April 2022. The guests got acquainted with the infrastructure of the college. Future plans were outlined at the meeting, which will contribute to the sustainable development of Georgian tourism in the field of educational tourism. The parties signed an MoU, the Chairperson of the Georgian Tourism Association Natalia Kvachantiradze, and on other hand the Director of the College "Prestige" by Konstantine Dolidze.
