By the Georgian Tourism Association - Standards Committee, on 20th December 2021, was organized 3nd International Online Conference -Standards in Tourism, Topic: Hotels and Accommodations.

 

The Georgian Tourism Association, within the framework of the GIZ project "Support to the Development Dual TVET in the Tourism Sector" presented research on "The needed occupations and qualifications in the Georgian tourism and hospitality sector needs assessment ", on December 8, 2021, at The Biltmore Tbilisi Hote

 

December 7th, 2021 The GSTC online members meeting was held, where were participants GTA Chairperson - Nata Kvachantiradze and GTA Head of Standards Committee - Teona Nemsitsveridze. The meeting was open for GSTC Members only. It included important developments, examples of how the GSTC framework is being applied, and an open guided discussion. Speakers of different countries were participants.

Every year, GSTC holds a professional conference focusing on sustainable tourism, standards, certifications, and the GSTC Criteria. The themes are different each year, with changing focus on different sustainability aspects from the GSTC Criteria.
