Was a big pleasure to host the CEO and Board member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC )- Mr. Randy Durband, and the Regional Director- Dr. Mihee Kang in Georgia. For three days, they visited Mtskheta and Kakheti regions. They tasted traditional Georgian cuisine and Georgian wine. They admired Georgian frescoes and cultural heritage. Guests attended to the meeting of the Georgian Tourism Association, shared the experience of the GSTC and the mechanisms of implementation of standards in tourism. We look forward to meeting and hosting them again in Georgia, in the near future. Georgian Tourism Association(GTA) is a member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council(GSTC) since 2012

On July 14, 2022, at Tbilisi Marriott Hotel, a meeting of the heads of the committees of the Georgian Tourism Association was held. The participants shared with each other future plans for the development of new services and products. The meeting was attended by the CEO and Board member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council - GSTCl - Mr. Randy Durband, and the Regional Director- Dr. Mihee Kang. The guests shared with the participants the experience of the GSTC and the mechanisms of implementation of standards in tourism.

"Building a sustainable tourism market between Georgia and Hungary"🇬🇪🇭🇺 On July 5-7, 2022 within the framework of EU4Business: Connecting Companies (EU4BCC), BSO partnership of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pécs-Baranya (CCIPB) and EU-Georgia Business Council (EUGBC) organized Georgian Delegation’s study visit to Hungary. Note: EU4BCC is a project managed by EUROCHAMBRES and funded under the EU4Business initiative of the European Union.

On 29 and 30 of June 2022, Georgian Tourism Association organized a qualification exam in Hotel Service, a dual vocational program at the Ilia Tsinamdzgvrishvili College. The project "Support to the Development Dual TVET in Tourism " is supported by GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit)
