We are glad to share with you another of our successes. 11 new members have joined the Georgian Tourism Association. Currently, there are a total of 210 members in the association.

For the first time in Georgia, at HR Congress 2023, businesses, state agencies, educational institutions, international donor organizations, HR professionals and talents #together! Participant of the panel, Nata Kvachantiradze, Chairperson at Georgian Tourism Association (GTA): "Tourism and hospitality industry is distinguished by a wide choice of employment. Accordingly, finding talents, sharing organizational experience, knowledge and skills with them is an unconditional priority of HR professionals, which makes business activities even more sustainable and successful''. On December 1, all interested parties will meet #together at Chateau De Vere to discuss the possibilities of attracting and retaining talent in the labor market.

On November 10-11, in Batumi the tourism festival - Tourister 2023 was held, where one of the speakers was Natalie Kvachantiradze- Chairperson of the Georgian Tourism Association, and one of the founders of the Tourism Alliance. The event was organized by the Tourism Institute.

European Commission - 🇬🇪 We recommend granting candidate status to Georgia on the understanding that the government takes important reform steps to mirror the genuine aspirations of the majority of its citizens to join our Union.

On October 31, 2023, the 6th International Conference "Standards in Tourism" was held at Biltmore Tbilisi Hotel, which was organized by the Georgian Tourism Association, and its Standards Committee. 3 sessions of different directions were provided: Destinations(DMO) and Municipalities, hotel standards and regulations, and sustainable MICE Tourism criteria.Georgian Tourism Association would like to express special thanks to its partners and members for supporting the event. www.standardsintourism.ge
