Natalie Kvachantiradze-Chairperson of Georgian Tourism Association and Teona Nemsitsveridze- head of Standards Committee met today Ms. Clare Allbless, the Deputy Head of Mission of British Embassy Tbilisi. The main topics of discussion were the introducing association activities. Regional projects connected with standards and recommendations, and sustainable tourism development in Georgia, future plans and jont iniciatives.

On April 2, 2024, for the members of GTA, a special workshop for tour operators was held at Lost Ridge Ranch, on the topic of how to plan horseback tours, how to work with horseback tour operators, guides and relevant suppliers. Host Ia Tabagar - founder of Horseback Georgia. Georgian Tourism Association supports the development of implementation of new professional and educational standards in our country.

In SEU, a meeting was held between representatives of the university and business spheres in order to deepen the strategic partnership with employers. During the meeting important topics were discussed such as: Development of university educational programs; Developing the skills required for students in the employment market, which is especially important for the development of programs at the Faculty of Business and Technology. head of `Spa, Welnes and medical Tourism Committee of GTA -Nini Chumburidze attended to the meeting.
