MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION AND COLLABORATION was signed between Georgian Tourism Association and Tourism Innovation Development Federation (Armenia), at 13 November, 2024. The purpose of Memorandum is to establish a basis for cooperation between the Association and the Federation in the field of tourism promotion: Development of tourism in the territory of the Republic of Armenia and Republic of Georgia. Creation and support of programs for tourists, including joint advertising campaigns. Organization of joint events aimed at promoting the tourism sector. Exchange of experience, information, and new technologies in the field of tourism.
The Closing Conference of project EU4Business: Connecting Companies (EU4BCC) was held in Moldova, Chisinau, on 24 October, 2024. Natalie Kvachantiradze -Chairperson of Georgian Tourism Association together with Georgian delegation participated to the event.
Georgian Tourism Association organized a training session “Increase awareness of Labor Rights & OSH in Tourism & Hospitality sector" for members of Association, training was held October 28, 2024. On training was presented Survey Analysis of Labor Rights & Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in Tourism & Hospitality sector. The aim of the project is to increase awareness and understanding of Labor Rights and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations among employers in the Tourism & Hospitality sector in Georgia, with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups, particularly those led by youth and women. Project partner Grant Thornton Georgia. The project is implemented under CIPE and Solidarity Center’s joint “Engaging Workers and Civil Society to Strengthen Labor Law Enforcement," Phase II project.
Georgian Tourism Association participated at the 1st ENABLING PV Forum for South Caucasus & Central Asia, October, 2024. The forum brought together over 100 key stakeholders from the public sector, industry, finance, and academia to collaboratively discuss and sustainable energy in the region. The event highlighted critical insights, fostering innovation and partnerships to drive the clean energy transition forward. Natalie Kvachantiradze- Chairperson of GTA represent the transformative potential of renewable energy and energy efficiency in the tourism sector in Georgia.
