The Georgian Tourism Association is organizing a 6-month project "Knowledge Marathon for Tourism Professionals". As part of the project, a training was held on April 23, on the topic: AI in Everyday Life" - Increase your efficiency in everyday life using AI tools. Since its inception, 273 tourism professionals have undergone training within the framework of the marathon. For 6 months, it is planned to hold monthly training sessions on various topics together with partner organizations.
The award ceremony of the joint educational competition “Discover What’s Yours” – “Discover What’s Yours” – was held in partnership with the Georgian Tourism Association, organized by the Georgian National University (SEU) and the tourism company “Discover Georgia”. The Georgian Tourism Association paid special attention to those projects that were distinguished by their in-depth vision, creativity and effective use of local resources. On this basis, the winner was awarded by Zurab Khabelashvili, Head of the Hotels Committee of the Georgian Tourism Association, on behalf of the association – Lizi Keshelav, a 12th grade student of the village of Kohnari Public School, Chokhatauri Municipality.

An information meeting about EBIT 2026 (17th International Tourism and Hotel Equipment Exhibition) was held on 23/03/2026, organized by the Georgian Tourism Association and its member company Expo Batumi. The meeting was attended by member organizations. The event serves to support regional initiatives. #ebit2026 will be held from April 30 to May 2 at the Sheraton Batumi Hotel. The Georgian Tourism Association will participate in the exhibition together with its member companies.
