6th International Conference – Tourism & Education The 6th International Conference – Tourism & Education successfully brought together representatives from the tourism industry, Education Institutions, Colleges, Public Sector and international organizations to discuss the future of tourism education, workforce development, and sustainable industry growth. 25 of June, 2026,Conference was organized by GTA, supported by GIZ,The conference served as a valuable platform for sharing knowledge, exchanging best practices, and strengthening collaboration between education and industry. Participants explored current trends, innovative approaches to skills development, digital transformation, sustainability, and the evolving needs of the global tourism and hospitality sector.

Workshop | Education & Skills Committee Establishment under the Umbrella of GTA, On 24 June, 2026, Georgia Tourism Association (GTA) hosted a workshop dedicated to the establishment of the Education & Skills Committee, an important initiative aimed at strengthening collaboration between the tourism industry and the education sector. The meeting discussed the issue of registration of tourist guides, tour operators, and travel agencies (travel agents) in Georgia.
