16-18 July, 2024 Members of Georgian Tourism Association were Invited to Kars Tourism Route Familiarization Tour in Kars Region (Turkiye). This Familiarization Trip was full of a rare and exclusive opportunity to delve into the rich historical and cultural tapestry of Kars, experience its singular attractions, and network with prominent figures in the tourism industry.Tour included visits to significant historical sites, cultural landmarks, and prospective tourism hotspots, thereby provided with invaluable insights into the vast potential of Kars as a premier tourism destination, Invitation and support by Kars Tourism Alliance.

On June 26-27/2024, the Georgian Tourism Association participated in the meeting of the Kars Tourism Alliance in Kars, Turkey, where the Kars Twin Cities Strategy was developed. The event was attended by: Nino Chumburidze - head of spa, wellness and Medical tourism Committee, and Nino Kekelidze - head of GTA educational tourism committee.
