The Head of Georgian National Tourism Administration- Maia Omiadze met with representatives of companies belonging to Georgian Tourism Association. The meeting was attended by the Chairperson of Georgian Tourism Association- Natalia Kvachantiradze. Maia Omiadze introduced the current and planned projects to the representatives of hotels and tourism companies. Representatives of the private sector were interested in the current regulations in the tourism sector, the training program for tourism sector representatives and the marketing campaigns that the National Tourism Administration is conducting in target markets. The meeting focused on the challenges in the tourism sector, as it was noted meetings with the private sector will continue in order to resolve the challenges
We are glad to share with you another of our successes. 9 new member have joined to Georgian Tourism Association. Currently, there are a total of 277 members in the association.Our goal is to attract active and motivated members, whose work will make the association more successful and will promote sustainable tourism in Georgia.
On April 10, 2025, within the framework of the Baku Travel Bazaar event at the JW Marriott Hotel, a ceremony was held to sign a memorandum of understanding on long-term cooperation between Azerbaijan Health and Thermal Tourism Support Association-the Chairman Ruslan Guliyev, and the Chairperson of Georgian Tourism Association Natalie Kvachantiradze. During the ceremony, a bilateral meeting was held and a mutual action plan for 2025-2026 was discussed. The meeting was also attended by members of the board of directors, Nazar Eminov and Jeyhun Ashurov, and from the Georgian side Nino Chumburidze- Head of Spa, Wellness and Medical Tourism Committee GTA.
