GTA new Strategic Development Plan (2025-2030), GTA has developed the association’s Strategic Development Plan (2025-2030), this plan outlines GTA’s vision, goals, and roadmap for the next five years. According to the plan, the association focuses on collaboration, digital innovation, capacity building and sustainable development, which will be ensured by the strong involvement of members and partners in the association's activities.
According to the Law of Georgia “On Tourism” from January 1, 2026, it will become mandatory for tourists entering Georgia to have health and accident insurance, in either physical or electronic form, in Georgian or English.
Georgian Tourism Association is organizing a 6-month project "Knowledge Marathon for Tourism Professionals". Within the framework of the project, two meetings have already been held in December, on the following topics: 1. Digital Transformation in the Tourism Sector How to Simplify Work with Google Workspace 2. Support for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. 126 participants attended the trainings.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Georgian Tourism Association and the LEPL Spatial and Urban Development Agency. The aim of the MoU is to promote effective and structural cooperation in the areas of tourism, urban development, spatial planning, urban planning and sustainable development, through joint research, projects and implementation of strategic plans.The memorandum was signed by the Chairperson of the Georgian Tourism Association - Natalia Kvachantiradze and the Head of the LEPL Spatial and Urban Development Agency - Zurab Tsiklauri.

The memorandum was signed by the Chairperson of Georgian Tourism Association- Natalia Kvachantiradze, and the Head of Business Development at ProCredit Bank- Giorgi Kardenakhlishvili.
