Georgian Tourism Association (GTA) supported to the Hospitality Investment Forum Tbilisi • HIF 2026, wich was held at 18 February, in Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palacee. The event brought together Local and International tourism and hospitality leaders, professionals, investors, developers and representatives of global hotel brands. Panel discussions covered market challenges, new trends and opportunities, local and international experience. As an international investment platform, Hospitality Investment Forum Tbilisi strengthens Georgia’s positioning within the international hospitality market and increasing attractiveness for regional and international investment. Georgian Tourism Association, at the invitation of the Porto Wine Tourism Week #WineTravelWeek and the Madeira Tourism Department, paid an official visit to Portugal, Madeira Island, 18-22/02/2026, The purpose of the visit was to hold bilateral business negotiations, promote the tourist destination of Portugal specifically Madeira Island and present Georgia's tourism potential, as well as establish long-term partnership relations between the two countries.
